D5 Render not detecting GPU – Quadro T2000 shows as “Unknown Graphics Card”

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue where the D5 Render launcher fails the hardware check, showing:

Unknown Graphics Card
Unknown Driver Version
Failed to meet the minimum requirements

My actual specs (confirmed by D5 Support Tool):

  • GPU: NVIDIA Quadro T2000 (4 GB VRAM)
  • Driver Version: 32.0.15.8088
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-9850H @ 2.60 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (Version 26100)

The Support Tool detects the GPU and driver correctly, but the main launcher does not.
I’ve already tried:

  • Setting D5Launcher.exe to High Performance in Windows Graphics Settings and NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Updating NVIDIA drivers to the latest version.
  • Enabling Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known fix or workaround to make the launcher detect the GPU?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi @koitla.erkki

Sorry, but I think your device did not meet D5’s minimum requirement since it does not support Ray Tracing, unlike the NVIDIA Quadro RTX series (e.g., Quadro RTX 3000, 4000, etc.) or the usual RTX Series.

  • I also doubled check your GPU in our User Self Test Data to see if there are users with the same device but there are none. D5 Benchmark Test Results

Thank You very much for the reply!
