**Issue Description: d5 freezes and crashes constantly

Hi everyone, I’ve been having a recurring issue with D5 Render on my laptop and was hoping to get some advice or insight. The software frequently crashes and freezes during use, even when I switch to the smooth configuration or use the clay model mode to lighten the load. These issues happen regardless of the scene complexity, making it difficult to work efficiently. My laptop specs are: Intel Core i7-13700HX, NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (8GB VRAM), and 16GB DDR5 RAM. I’ve made sure my drivers are up to date and closed any unnecessary background processes, but the problem persists. Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround?

I apologize for the inconvenience. Did you perhaps update your Windows Version recently,
which triggered this issue you are experiencing?

  • It might be worth it to try to revert to a previous version and see if it improves the issue.
  • Does this issue occur in a specific file only? Or even with empty or Demo Scene Files?
  • Your D5 Version is 2.10 and not 2.10.1? Try updating to the hotfix version (2.10.1)
  • Disable any CPU or GPU Overclocking.
