:notebook_with_decorative_cover: Description of the work:

“Ancient & Extinct (almost). Doomed to be extirpated, doomed to eternal display surrounded by solid concrete walls that will last a very long time. The Anatolian Leopard is a big cat species native to Anatolian region of Turkey. For many generations, it has been hunted down by many heartlessly. For so long now, it was thought to be extinct, showing itself no more than a few times every decade. It is bound to go extinct, it has no chance against the human race.

This is a display where it is intended to be displayed in the busiest city of Turkey, Istanbul. To educate and provide awareness to the masses about this big cat of the wilderness. The world is in a climate crisis and pollution is constantly rising. Species and ecosystems are detoriating, extinction of various creatures is at our doorstep. In this small-scale architectural installation, I tried to capture the leopard skull that is framed by the very rigid and dull concrete which solidifies the situation that this endangered animal faces. The render video posted on YouTube is intended to be seen in a loop and to be used as a museum display in a real-life scenario."
