D5 Plugin not appearing in Blender Add-Ons

Graphics Card: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-12700H
Issue Description:
Screenshots/Videos Description: I’ve installed the D5 Blender Plug-In/Extension, but the plug-in is not appearing in the Blender Preferences Add-Ons as per tutorials and manuals. I’ve tried previous versions and still nothing.

Hi mate, sorry for the late reply, recently we are working on improving the installation method of D5 Converters. For now, D5 Converter can only be recognized when your add-on file path of modeling software is the default one.

Please check whether you have this folder (D5 export) under the path, and please copy it and paste to the file path your Blender recognizes.

Hi Oliver,

i have the same problem as rubenjkruger, the Addon does not work, also not insert the Files in the follow folder on C.

and in the addons folder in Appdata not exist the folder “d5_export”

Do you have any tipp for me.

yah , i had the same issue. and i fixed it myself,

here it is the my solution

  1. change the path of installation to another new empty folder for a temporary time

  2. after installation you can find a folder D5_export in that temporary folder .

  3. copy that D5_export folder to your blender (C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 3.6\3.6\scripts\addons )

  4. restart blender. its worked for me :+1:.
