D5 Render Version: 2.0.5.0320 Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 3080 Driver Version: 497.29 Issue Description:
This is the same issue as I was having before, but now on a separate computer with different slightly newer specifications. Just as before, when I attempt to start a new project, the program freezes without an error message and I’m forced to close it through task manager. I followed the previous instructions via removing d5 related folders in appdata local and roaming. I did get it to work once after a reinstall, but it stopped shortly after trying to use the sync feature with Rhino with a very small project (just a plaque design).
If you want a log file, let me know how I can send it to you.
Screenshots/Videos Description: Steps to Reproduce (optional):
Hello imo00, from your last post I saw that your computer has CPU overclocking, right? So I think this computer also has CPU overclocking, right? If yes, please turn it off then try again.
Also, if this setting of your computer is on, please turn it off then try again:
The workstation doesn’t have overclocking enabled, so this doesn’t seem to be a related issue in either case. Disabling GPU scheduling seems to have fixed the issue for the time being. Thank you!
Unfortunately, this problem has returned. After turning off my second and third monitor, the file was able to launch again. It would seem that if the program crashes while not on the primary monitor it will continue to crash each time you try to reopen it as it tries to reopen on the last monitor used.
