Hi @zhifei

I apologize for the inconvenience. I may need to ask you several questions and images for troubleshooting:

Since you’re using the NVIDIA 576.02 Version, I suggest reverting back to its previous version since 576.02 is known to have caused several issues with D5 Render. Thank you.

Hi, thank you for responding!
If I revert back the NVIDIA drive, do you have a recommendation on which version to use?
Here is the system info:

This only happens to larger files. If I open a small file it won’t cause that issue.
I didn’t touch the files in D5 folder.

Hi @zhifei

Thank you so much for sending these images.

  • First and foremost, I recommend installing 572.47 Version for NVIDIA Drivers

  • Did you perhaps enable overclocking for your GPU and CPU? Please try to disable it.
  • Your memory speed seems to be too high, it’s around 6400 MT/s. We do recommend keeping it at 4000 MT/s or below, 4800 MT/s should also be okay.

Since you have also mentioned that this only occurs with Heavy files, then there is a huge possibility that it may be caused by excessive GPU usage because of many assets that were used. Please optimize your file by disabling Dynamic Assets, Running Smooth Mode, etc.

  • Another solution is to delete the ‘f2’ folder under your WorkSpace path and then reopen the archive. Once it’s open, refrain from updating the assets until you have lightened your scene file by deleting some assets, including procedurally generated vines. This will help prevent it from crashing again due to excessive video memory usage.
