D5 2.4 and 2.3 in same system

Hi, can we use version 2.3 and 2.4 as seperate installs in same system since we are having work in progress projects. Or can we update to 2.4 once it is released without issues for existing projects.

Is there a process of upgrading existing projects

Hi mate, in every update, we will mention that it is suggested to keep using your current version until your projects are finished. Because every update will have scene changes so the effect may change, the 2.4 update’s change is relatively large, so it is recommended to keep using 2.3 to finish your projects first, then upgrade to 2.4.
Of course, you can also install both 2.3 and 2.4 on your computer, just do not install them in a same place.
And back up your files before opening them in 2.4, because once they are saved in 2.4, they will no longer be able to open in 2.3 or previous versions.
