in image mode: scene defined with aspect ratio, resolution, format and channels OFF

turning image mode off and on again → channels activated
when moving camera in image mode → channels activates itself

quite annoying turning it off everytime when you just want a quick test render

this did not happen in previous versions of D5
is this a bug or a feature?

Hello. I think the one that was activated would be the AI Enhancer channel map, which is a new feature related to our new AI Enhancer feature. You need to have this channel map in order to use this feature.

You’re right, THAT was the problem. Thank you!

I thought, an unchecked “channels”-box means everything inside channels will be unchecked. (maybe this happened because i updated this file to version 2.8 and so AI enhancer was on automatically?

Currently it will be checked by default, but you can also uncheck it if you render images that don’t use this feature. I have feedback with our team about your needs and they will discuss this.
