I found out that if I do not load D5 from the main model and open D5 separately first and synch it with my model, only then I can import other SKP files into it.
Does that make sense?

If you are referring to the door issue then that is indeed the case. If you wish to animate a model separately, then you need to import it separately. However, our SU plugin currently supports grouped imports as well, and this feature can solve some of the problems.
