Cannot download (update) from v2.0.1.0313

Issue Description:
Hello. I’ve got a problem with updating to D5 version 2.0.5. (2.1 respectively)
Every time i am on the welcome screen it gives me the option to download update or cancel, I’ve had to cancel every time since 2.0.5 came out as whenever i press the download button it just freezes. I’ve left it for 1 hour and more and it’s just frozen, it doesnt download anything.

Can someone please help me with a solution (I am assuming the most forward one would be re-instaling the program as it should go to the current version but i am asking this to make sure there is not a different solution or rather that i am not about to make a mistake for a simpler option).

Hello, from your description, I think the main cause should be that the update process was stopped by other software(Antivirus software, or Windows Defender). Please try turning off them temporarily then update D5 Render, or you could add D5 Render to its whitelist manually(it depends on what AV software you use).
