The Teams User Manual has directions for a NAS Shared Folder. This appears to utilize a physical NAS location, but not a cloud based

It has the same process as Dropbox integration, you can find the information here: D5 Account Supports Integrated Dropbox Account | User Manual
The usage process is the same as Dropbox. However, please note that if the plan you purchased is onedrive for business, you need to switch the app - Sharepoint, and then bind your onedrive for business account
I think this is true for sharing assets, but not project files
Yes, app integration only supports sharing assets, etc. Regarding the project files, cloud storage options such as OneDrive are not yet available.
