Hi, it seems there is a bug in the new update animation range. Animation (abc file) keeps starting from zero with new rendered shot even though I set it to start in the range suitable for the shot.
Attachment 1 is a screenshot of the shot and range of the car before rendering
Attachment 2 is a rendered frame with no car because it starts from zero even though the range was edited.
I don’t think the issue I’m facing is being fully understood. Even when I create a new clip and adjust the animation range for the model, the changes aren’t respected. For instance, if I’m working with animated birds (similar to D5’s assets) and set their baked animation to start at frame 100, they still begin at frame 0 when rendered. This disregards the intended timing and throws off the final result.
In my case I have set the range to start at 399 no matter where the video starts rendering from and no matter if I que certain clips in the render que. In previous versions the animation will start at 399. In this version, the range setting does not work.
Alright, thanks for clarifying and providing the full context. I was able to replicate this issue on my end based on your description, and I have reported this issue further to my team.
Note: Just a pro tip, we highly suggest including a video recording when reporting issues that deal with animation just to ensure that we are on the same page and to avoid further delays. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
