AI Material Capture and Plant Generation Issues in D5 Render 2.11

Issue Description:
In D5 Render 2.11, I am experiencing two main problems related to the AI features:

  1. Material Capture from Image:
  • When I upload an image, the AI starts analyzing it for a few seconds.
  • After that, it does not allow me to select any material from the image to generate a new one.
  • Even when using the default sample image that appears when opening the tool, I can visually select a material (e.g., wood), but when I click Generate, no material is created and nothing happens.
  1. AI Plant Generation:
  • When I type a description of the plant I want to create, the AI does generate a preview and a list of plants.
  • However, when I try to use Auto Scatter, I get an error and no plants are placed in the scene.
  • Instead, I only see a small blue square with a message saying that the plant generation failed.

Questions:

  • What could be causing these problems?
  • Is there any setting, update, or additional requirement for these features to work properly in D5 Render 2.11?
  • Could this be related to internet connection, GPU resources, or compatibility issues with the current version?

System Information:

  • Version: D5 Render 2.11

Hi @marcoc

I apologize for the inconvenience. Any AI Tool is reliant on the internet connection speed and stability. You can try connecting to another network to test if the issue persists.

  • While we do appreciate your detailed description, it’s best to include a screen recording of these issues experienced.
  • Is this problem experienced on a specific file only, or on all of your files too?
