I think i found the solution, to win render time i turned off all the channels except the post AI channel, but now when i rendered an image with all the channels activated , the post AI works fine again, i hope this is the sollution for everyone.
Today, I have the same problem with AI post-processing. I unclicked the AI post channel, and it is working again.
Thank you
Iāve replied to your post on another forum topic, you might want to check it out.
@badrameur7 So you were able to fix the issue by unchecking all of the channels?
And as for @ddimauro, you deactivated the AI Channel for AI Enhancer to proceed? Did you perhaps enable outline mode?
Please clarify the steps that youāve done to repair this issue and share whether there were settings that were enabled in Effects/Environment (e.g. Outline Mode was enabled, etc.), so we can further investigate this issue.
I turned off the AI channel before rendering the image, which allowed post-processing to start working again, so I wasnāt stuck waiting. I reactivated the channel, and itās still working fine; no outline effect is activated. It only includes cloud, fog, and rain puddles.
I model in SketchUp 2024 and use D2.10 PRO for rendering.
However, I have another issue. Our company has a ā+ā sign in the folder name, so the first rendering saves correctly in the folder. but during post-processing, the images are saved outside in a folder that does not include the ā+ā sign.
Hereās a sample of the paths:
- Regular rendering saves to: network drive\job number+rendering\image.jpg
- Post-processing saves to: network drive\job number\rendering\images-upscale.jpg
Building path: U+Design\rendering
Hi @ddimauro
Alright, thanks for providing the information. The AI Post Channel in the channels improves the accuracy of region selection during AI Enhancer. I donāt think activating this channel should hinder you from using the AI Tool, nor cause any error,r as its main purpose is just to improve selection when using AI Tools that require precise selection (region specific, etc.).

I just tested it on my end, and it seems to be working normally, even with AI Channel enabled.
Note: AI Enhancer & AI Enhancer Channel only support rendered images within 6K resolution (no more than 6200 pixels on any side) in saved archives. Over-sized images canāt be ticked with āAI Post Channelā and wonāt show the āAI Post-Processingā entrance after rendering. -
Was the issue you experienced only specific to a certain file? Or is it evident in all of your other files?
Additionally, I did test your other concern about the folder name with a symbol ā+ā on it, and Iāve successfully replicated it on my end. We will be investigating this issue and see how we can improve or fix this. Thank you for pointing it out.
Thank you, keep posted regarding the folder issue.
Hi @amap100298
There are several reasons for this error prompt.
- Where is the original image placed? Did you perhaps move or rename it?
- Does this occur to a specific file only? Or it persists even in other D5 files while using AI Enhancer?
Possible workarounds and solution:
- Try to connect to another network and see if the issue persists.
- Ensure firewall rules are set to apply to āall programs that meet specific conditionsā, not just a specific program
- Paths with characters like & or % can cause image loading failures. Move the project file to a path without special characters and retry
- Save the render to a local path and ensure full Read & Write access to the folder
