D5 Render Version: 2.11 and D5Launcher-windows-1.0.0.0165

Issue Description:I was using D5 Render 2.10.2.0589 just fine
but i removed it and installed 2.11 throw D5Launcher-windows-1.0.0.0165.exe setup file
Now when i try to open it by clicking on D5 Launcher nothing happen!!
and so if i click on drs files it shows the window to chose app to open that files like I don’t have any app to open drs files.

Can you try to redownload it again? Please do it in this order:
- Versions after 2.11 require the installation of D5 launcher before downloading - Please download the launcher first before downloading 2.11
- Open D5 Launcher > Click the download button on D5 launcher homepage, select the download location, download and install.

To be more clear I nstalled only D5Launcher 1.0.0.0165 and when I try to open it by clicking on D5 Launcher icon nothing happen!! so I still don’t have D5 2.11 and the Issue still persists.

I also got the same problem about D5launcher not responded. This morning i had to update D5 to latest version. After successful updated, software cannot open and system said to launch D5Launcher and nothing happen. So ive tried to uninstall but system said “failed to Uninstall” maybe some running background didnt close yet. At the end, tried to uninstall in safe mode. Now my PC doesnt have D5 anymore. Hope dev got some update for this issued.

Please check your Tray Icons and see if D5 Launcher is running, try to double click it if it will open.
I don’t have the icon in the tray only in desktop. still not working
hello , I try to search in hiddon icon , but not show the D5launcher icon.
and try to clean uninstall and re-install again , it still cannot launch the launcher.
Are you have any idea to fix ?

- Please try to temporarily disable your Antivirus, Firewall, or any encryption software while installing/downloading the Launcher.
- Did you select “Only for the current user” or “For all users” when installing the launcher? I suggest selecting Only for the current user for now. Then try opening again.

I have the same problem. After the update, the launcher cannot be launched, so I can’t use the program now.
i have also same issue its really urgent , I couldn’t access any file in 2.11 version.

We’re currently closely monitoring this issue.
- Please try to check on your Tray Icons if D5 Launcher is there
- Run D5 Launcher as Administrator
If these 2 suggestions didn’t help, please send us your launcher logs, I’m not sure how @renderstudio2001 was able to generate the log file without opening the launcher, but we do recommend sending this portion of the D5 Launcher logs so we can examine it further. Thank you!

Yes, Thank you I changed to English and then updated to 2.11 Worked for me but only from tray icon not desktop icon still nothing happen when click on it.

Thanks for your update. Did you enable Minimize to Tray? I think if you enable this one and proceed to close the launcher, clicking the desktop icon won’t do anything since it is minimized in the tray icon section.
