I made the mistake to create a new D5 folder for each project I start. A lot of my projects use similar assets, but now they exist as multiple downloads several times on my drive.
Did some research and figured it is better to tell D5 to use one central asset folder where all projects can share the downloaded asset.
Questions:
- If I “Clear Data” to reduce my file storage needs, will this delete assets that are in the file but invisible / deactivated? Or only assets that were downloaded to the asset folder, but were not implemented in the file?
- If “Clear Data” deletes files from the assets folder that aren’t used in the current scene, they will be gone in other projects that do have them implemented, won’t they? Or how does that work?
Appreciate some workflow advice
