Just wondering why my GPUs only run between 8 and 12% when using D5? Is this normal? Why not 100% when rendering/animating? I have two 3090’s and just wondering whey they aren’t being used to their full potential is all. Thanks!

Anybody else’s GPUs say they are not running at full capacity while using D5? The number I am referring to is located at the top of the screen – please see below:
Mine usually ranges from 10%-30% depending on the weight of the file. I use a (single) RTX3070. Would still prefer if D5 used more of what we have available to make things faster.
Hello, it is normal that GPU are not 100% used in the preview mode, because we need to use algorithm to make it smoother and faster, with temperature and other elements into consideration.
Also, when rendering, you can use GPU-Z to monitor the GPU usage, I believe it should be used to their full potential. The Windows task manager may be not accurate.
