Hello everyone.
I encountered a problem where, when using volumetric light to simulate spotlights shining upwards, they disappear when the camera zooms out. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, and is there a solution?
Below I will upload a render where the cameras are closer to the light and further from the light
I could not test it but maybe turning of LOD-Option would be the solution for your problem.
Hello! Does this only occur in preview or occur both in preview and rendering output?
I tried with it on and off, nothing changes
Hello. This happens simultaneously in both render and preview. I tried to do as told, but nothing changed
maybe it has something to do with the attenuation radius of the light?
Did you use any light assets in the scene? Or did you just use volumetric light?
Maybe you can send your scene file to us for check. You can share a link here or send your file to our email. (support@d5techs.com, please describe the problem and attach the link of this post to your mail)
I only used regular volumetric light. Sent a message by email.
Thanks for reply. We will check your file.
Hi! Sorry for my late reply. This is currently a known issue. After the volume light is turned on, the light source will be invisible at distances greater than 60m. This is currently happening for all types of lights. We will try to optimise this later.
Thanks for the answer! I hope this problem will be fixed soon
