Hello again. I’m here with another very basic question, but after I made such a rudimentary mistake on my last project with light sources, I’d rather be as efficient as possible with my time.
When you do a new version of a design in sketchup, how do you update the D5 version but also keep the previous version in case the clients changes their mind? I just changed the central part of a landscape model but I want to keep everything else that I set up from the previous D5 model. So I want to sync the new SU model with the old D5 model but save it as a new version so I can still access the previous one.
I’m still confused by this process. I created version 1 of a model and synced it with D5, then I made changes and saved v1 as v2, I then clicked on the StartD5/Sync button in sketchup and did File > Save As v2 in D5 as well, but then I ended up with two models occupying the same space causing flickering.
Please can you tell me the best process for creating model revisions, imagine I’m a total idiot and you won’t be far wrong
Please can you tell me the process for this as I keep ending up with two D5 models occupying the same space. I have an updated sketchup model that I want to sync to the previous d5 version as I’ve placed lots of assets, then I want to save the D5 file as a new version.
