VR mode changed in V3.0

Are there any changes made in VR mode? It works faster, but the visual experience quality is not as good as before.

Hi @aleksandar.baftirosk

In D5 Render 3.0, VR mode has been optimized for better performance. VR is still a beta feature, so visual quality is intentionally reduced compared to the desktop preview to maintain smooth frame rates. This can result in softer lighting, reduced reflections, and some effects being limited or disabled in VR.

This behavior is expected. If the quality drop feels excessive, please let us know your VR headset and GPU details so we can look into it further. Thank you

H @ela thank you for your quick reply. I was comparing VR mode D5 V2.11 and V.30 not with desktop preview. I am completely aware that VR mode is still in Beta mode and I am really looking forward to final version.
At the moment the VR mode is away overexposed and when I try to fix the exposure I noticed that the quality of the textures is degraded and there is no reflection at all…
I am using HTC Vive Focus 3 headset and the GPU is Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell edition

Hi @aleksandar.baftirosk

I apologize for the inconvenience. To better visualize the issue you’re experiencing with overexposure, texture quality, and missing reflections, could you please share a sample image or output from your VR session? A screenshot or screen recording would help us see exactly what’s happening and provide more targeted guidance. Thanks in advance and I look forward to your update.
