Volumetric light, seen through glass texture?

I have a stadium project where I have some stage lighting that has been set up to create some nice volumetric lighting. The position of the render is by a glass balustrade which looks down into the space. I’ve just noticed that when seeing the volumetric lighting through the glass, it’s no longer visible. I will work around it by doing two render passes (with and without glass) and then stitching back together, but wondering if anyone has found a quicker route?

Hi there, I apologize for the incovenience this issue has caused. May I just confirm if the volumetric light that you have enabled or use is the one in the particle asset? Thank you~

That’s alright, no problem at all. I am using the stage light and I have turned on fog and volume light in effects to get this. Hope that helps

Hello~ you might want to try to use the Tyndall / Godrays effect as a particle in the asset library since there is a current known issue regarding it (activated through effects) You may want to refer to this link Volumetric light issue in d5 render - #7 by maslu

Let me know if this helps, thank you.
