When I apply volumetric lighting, the haze appears pixelated after rendering. Despite adjusting various settings, the issue persists. Please help
I can’t seem to replicate this issue on my end. The pixelated haze is only evident on the preview screen, and rendering it will have better results
- Are you perhaps using a custom GOBO? can you share to me the image file of it?
Thanks, Clove, for your response.
In my case, the pixelation appears both during pre-render and post-render. Rendering at 8K does improve the quality slightly, but the issue still persists. I’ve been using the GOBO that comes with D5, not a custom one.
Since I was not able to replicate the issue, can you send this particular file so I can test it on my end?

Please send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov-Forum Volumetric Light Issue’, please zip it first.

It’s also best to check your GPU Drivers if they are updated.
Anyway, let me know if you have sent it. Thank you.
Thank you for the response.
I’ve sent the ZIP folder with the necessary assets. My GPU drivers are already up to date.
We’ve finished testing your file. Currently, there is a known issue with the fog parameter; when the value is large, the stage lights appear to have jagged edges. For now, the current workaround is to adjust to a lower value, enough for the haze to show. We will be addressing this issue in a subsequent release. Thank you.
Thank you ! for the addressing the issue. I’ll adjust the value accordingly for now and look forward to the fix in a future release.
Thanks again for your support!
