Viewports problem with livesync

When using LiveSync between Rhino and D5 Render, the camera positions appear to be different in both programs. Although the screen movements are synced, it looks like the cameras are located in different positions.

For example, in Rhino, the building is visible and centered in the view, but in D5 Render (with LiveSync enabled), the building does not appear in the camera view. The movements of the viewports are linked, but the camera positions themselves are not matching.

How can this issue be resolved?

Hello, I have seen the images posted, I do not use Rino as a graphic operator, but I have the impression that you have the background of an image in front of the camera, and he does not show you the house.

This is because from box D5 you have an HDRI as a setting, so I thought you put an image as a schenography.

However there is another way to position the home on that image, if it does not work the Rino’s plugin with synchronization.
That is, take the 2D plan from the objects, insert the image as a material, rotate it is to place it behind the house.
Example:

here there is a background of a landscape with three pylons positioned

Here I show you the plan with the image

I hope I helped you in any other way, but if you want to find the solution of the plugin Rino you have to go to the settings and give the command that the picture must be behind

This is not a question about model placement. The issue is that the camera positions in Rhino and D5 do not match, and I would like to synchronize them.

You tried to move the view in Rino and then synchronize it, you have to click on the top left, also check if the camera on the D5 plugin is activated, see also in the settings.

Hi there @bethelo

I apologize for the inconvenience. I would want to confirm to you the following:

  • Does this issue occur only to this file? Have you tried livesyncing another file and seeing if the view matches?

  • What is your Livesync Version and D5 Version? 1.1.0.0002 and D5 2.10.2.0589 are the latest ones.
    Rhino

  • Have you tried fully closing both of your files, then reactivating the Livesync?

  • Does the building exist in D5 Render? Based on the image you’ve provided, it seems to have disappeared, but you were able to set up a lot of scenes already. Perhaps a video recording would greatly help.
