Video Scene Transition Will Not Flow Together

In creating video clips, playback is not transitioning from shot to shot, rather it only acts like a “slide-show” from shot to shot. Any ideas why the scene’s won’t transition?

Hi mate, please note that the clips in the same color(blue) are a complete shot, those in different colors are not in the one shot and will act like a “slider”
