I did some more test…
When rendering in still image, the quality is perfect.
When rendering in animation mode… poor quality for the beauty and reflection pass… the over pass seems good except the AO pass that is really grainy but not aliased.
why the still image mode and the animation mode don’t have the same render quality???
I try to conform camera resolution and output one… samething
Hi there, you might want to try @NgTrung 's suggestion regarding turning off the D5 SR Image Rendering Beta since this speeds up the rendering time at the cost of sacrificing a little bit of detail. You may want to check out YouTube channels or guides for more video rendering tips and guides.

I already do the search and the D5 SR was disable from start… the render difference between still and anim render is huge… I have already find similar topic in this forum without solution… so…

Please try turning off “Super Resolution” before rendering the video. it will take more time to render, but the final result will be a little clearer than before with the feature turned on.

Rendering in 4k with higher FPS.

Honestly it just seems you still have some sort of super resolution turned on. I dont have this problem at all.
Did you turn off Super resolution and frame generation here?
Also try changing the materials in general, like the glass.
Honestly… I already done that… no super resolution… no frame generation… may be it dont turn off in the background but for what I see, it’s off. Driver problem or thing like that? I really don’t know.
Same for the material… I use the simplest white plastic for the whole model… with no glass at all… It’s exactly the same result.
The real concerne is that anim render and still image render are largely different.
Hello, we cannot give you a definitive time for the fix, but rest assured, the whole team is aware of this issue. This is somewhat similar to the case that was reported, wherein the first few frames of the video are of poor quality compared to the image and the latter frames.

You have also mentioned driver problems. Generally, we suggest updating your graphic card driver to the latest version since this also contributes to display performance (similar to video games) and prevents other issues. You may want to try to update it through the designated application of your graphics card or its website.

If you have an NVIDIA Graphics Card you may want to check its control panel and see if it’s running on high-performance mode
Any of this could and could not be a work around for this issue but hopefully this will somehow alleviate what you experienced, thank you so much for your understanding~

So, from what I understand, you don’t have a solution in sight. You know, but there’s nothing you can do right now. Problem on a third party technology I imagine. Nvidia?
By the way, the problem does not only affect the start of the animation but the entire rendering. The artifact is also similar to what we perceive in the real-time interface of D5, when we scroll through the animation.
A real optional frame-by-frame rendering system would do the trick. By frame, I mean still image in batch… in old school mode Obviously slower, but ultimate quality.
Please keep us informed on the subject.

Hi, currently, we are working on optimizing the issue mentioned. In most cases, we do suggest updating the graphics card drivers since NVIDIA could include some fixes that affect the quality of D5 Render, considering that D5 is based on NVIDIA’s RTX Technology.
We do currently have an option to render the video by sequence but as you have mentioned, this would take a lot of space and time but ensures ultimate quality. You may want to enable it here:

I already know this function. It’s even with this that I produced the images above on this thread. The problem is that there is the “animation rendering” quality and the “still image rendering” quality which are not the same, for reasons of light stability I imagine.
