Hi Team - unless I am missing the most obvious new features tucked away I do not see the update making a difference. There was a summary page in the beginning with a nice list of new features however when I open D5 I struggle to see where they are?
We’re currently in a gray-scale phase for the new version, which means it’s being released to a limited number of users at random. This allows us to gather feedback and ensure a smooth transition before the official release.
The official update list on the D5 Welcome Page will be updated once the official release is ready and available to everyone.
Thank you. I understand with regards to released users. However when I opened D5 it ask me if I want to update to 2.10 and I allowed it. After the update UI and tools are the same as 2.9. on my workstation.
To confirm after the upgrade there was no change in my D5. This is the part I do not understand.
I can not test the new 2.10 because no new tools has been added. Unless there is some things running in the background that I do not know about?
Fantastic work! Thank you all good now. Well done on the new release. Please send my message to the team. D5 continuing to become a stronger render package with every new release. More then half of my work has moved over from Vray to D5 last couple of months.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re continuously working to improve and innovate, and feedback like yours is what drives us forward. Thank you for being a part of the D5 community.
Hi @whispersound, The 2.10 version update has now been rolled out to all users. To ensure you receive the update notification, please follow these steps:
Log out and log back into your account on the D5 client.
Confirm that you have a stable internet connection.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. Enjoy the new features!
Thanks for your answer, I followed your instructions but I don’t know why it didn’t work. Then I reinstalled D5 and the problem solved. Maybe it will help anyone else. Thank you for your effort!
