Vehicle Trail in Video

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed an issue after the recent D5 Render update. When a car moves through the scene, it leaves behind a reflection trail. While it looks visually interesting, it’s not very realistic and can be quite distracting in some animations. Has anyone experienced this, and is there a way to fix or minimize it?

Here are my system specs:

  • GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
  • CPU: Intel i9-14900K
  • RAM: 32 GB

Render settings:

  • Duration: 7 seconds
  • Resolution: 1080p
  • Mode: Sequence
  • Render time: 18 minutes

I’m also concerned about the render time—25 minutes seems unusually long for this setup. Any advice on optimizing performance or troubleshooting would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @sabelo3.khambule7 We also observed the reflection trail while testing this issue. I will share this information with our engineers for a detailed review, and we will provide feedback. After troubleshooting, any necessary amendments will be included in future releases.
