Hello all,
Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for vegetation to grow on
on the underside!
Can I edit the areas where this happens in D5,
so that the vegetation appears on the correctly side?
Does this have anything to do with UV mapping?

… it would be nice if someone from support could comment on this.
As I said, this effect is not uncommon.

Hi Andreas, sorry for the late reply. Next time you encounter that problem, please reverse the faces or Normal of the material in your modeling software, then sync back to D5 Render.
For example, in SketchUp, if I import a model with the wrong side, then in D5 the grass will grow on the underside after I turn on grass material or scatter plants. After I reverse the face in SU then sync to D5, the grass will become normal. This should work for other modeling software as well.
Hello Oliver,
thanks for the tip.
Yes, in my modelling software this is also possible.
I was thinking, reversing the normals would also be possible in D5,
as it is possible in the other visualisation software I use.
Even though D5 is not a modelling software, the possibility to change the normal
for surfaces in D5 would be an advantage.
Bye
Andreas
