Hi there, where is the tail light check box feature shown in the promo for this release?
your original image with tail light check box…
screen grab of my open session (no check box option)…
what am I doing wrong?

Hi @mcdermoa
May I know which D5 Render Version you are currently using? It seems to work on my end after setting the Weight and selecting the model. For reference, I am using a Vehicle Path and, at the same time, a single vehicle asset.
V2.10. I think maybe part of the problem is there is no tutorial on how to use this tool… unless there is, and could you please point me to it?
I am unclear how you managed to do two different selection sets for that matter. Mine has none of those features. I am glad it is working on your end, but could it be because you made a vehicle path? I am not clear on a ‘single vehicle asset comment’ since I can clearly see two vehicles in the scene. Also, is this feature only available for native D5 assets, or is it tied to emissive materials? The two cars in my scene are not D5 assets, but models I made into locals.
to add to this, now when I start a new D5 file from scratch, you can see that there is no option to do any ai post processing. When I select the icon in the upper right of the main UI, it does not recognize that I just did a rendering. What is going on here?
and yes, the post ai channel is checked.
here is another example. This file was originated in v2.10, and the post ai channel is an option. What am I doing wrong?
Hi @mcdermoa
We have a webinar planned that is going to talk about the new 2.10 Features and we are launching multiple tutorial videos about the new features. If you’re interested you can visit this link: Explore D5 2.10 with us!

step one: render image… within 6k resolution… this is scene about to be rendered.
Again, you are showing me the steps that should work, and ones I already understand. I am clearly poorly explaining that the feature does not work as you describe it, so I am trying my best here once again to show you step by step what is happening.
at this point, I cannot even get the UI for AI Enhancement to show up in order to test your suggestion about where to find the check box for the tail light streak. I asked this already on my other thread with you, but the turn around time for a response to these issues, and the high hit rate for misunderstanding the question at hand makes for an excruciatingly slow process here. Is there a way to talk to a tech via remote connection to trouble shoot in real time?
Saving it helps! That at least has gotten the AI Enhancement feature to reemerge, thank you for that. However, it is still very hit or miss of when the motion blur feature will trigger the tail light check box feature. I place one of the native D5 cars, and if the selection tool recognizes the entire car without having to use the ctrl key, it works. If I have to select the car panel by panel, it no longer functions, whether it is a native asset or not.
Hi @mcdermoa
If an AI channel map is not rendered, the system will rely on large AI models to compute material maps during region selection, which can sometimes lead to inadvertently selecting parts like doors or other components. However, if an AI channel map is available, the region selection will accurately target the entire car.
