Hi there,
I apologize for the inconvenience. I may need more information regarding this.
- Does this only occur on a specific file or is it also evident in other files?
- How heavy is your D5 Render File?
- Are there no error prompts?
Can you normally create new scene files or run D5 demo files? If the problem only exists with the current project or some of the scene files, it is likely that the file is too heavy and is taking up too much video memory, exceeding the load of your current device, and you need to lighten and optimize your file.
- please delete the ‘f2’ folder under your WorkSpace path and then reopen the archive. Once it’s open, refrain from updating the assets until you have lightened your scene file by deleting some assets, including procedurally generated vines. This will help prevent it from crashing again due to excessive video memory usage.
Hi, try this way, you have to divide the work into different layers, that is, if you have furnishings then the structure, divide it into two layers both for all the furnishings and then of the structure. You keep one closed the other open when I synchronize it with the job D5, if you open, then open the second layer of the program you use is synchronize, so cheer the opening of the D5 file. If I invest the problem and this is not, but the D5 file that does not charge, then and a memory problem, before reopening the file you have to empty some imondesque of the temple temple, then clean the hard drive a little, pressing on the Disco iconet C with the right mouse button, do propility and clean. Once this is done, close the PC, wait 5 minutes, you rearrange it, see if you load the D5 files.
I hope I helped you.
- yes this only occurs in one specific file, i tried launching my other d5 file from other projects and it loads perfectly.
- it is only like 1.5gb after i checked it, i think it is because of those precedually-generated ivy? does that have issues?
- sometimes it shows the out of memory thing pop up sometime it does not.
i indeed use layers when im working on my projects, even if its hidden i think d5 render still loads on startup but im not so sure, but ill try to do what you said, thanks for you input!
Thank you for these answers. In addition to my reply, you can check out this forum link: [Hot Issue] TDR Problems and Out of Memory Crash Related Issues.
Indeed, we do have a current issue regarding Procedurally-Generated Ivy and other vegetation assets which causes GPU Spike in the latest version. I do suggest deleting the pak files for now and organizing the assets. Thank you for your understanding.
