Unable to use Cesium on my Edu Account

Hi!

I just want to use cesium on my computer to try some visualizations but I can’t add my token to D5. On “workspace” window it doesn’t appear the Cesium part. I already have a Cesium account and a token created but I can’t activate the plugin for it. Can anybody help?

Hi @tomas.cuesta

The Cesium plugin is currently not available for EDU accounts. It is only supported on Pro and Team accounts. To use Cesium features in D5, you would need to upgrade to a Pro or Team account. Thank you for your understanding

Hi,
I’m having trouble adding a Cesium token in D5 MySpace. It might be that the student version doesn’t allow the use of Cesium.

Can anyone confirm this or suggest a solution?

Hi @artiom.badarau

Yes, Cesium is only supported on Pro and Team accounts.

Hi everyone,
I’m using D5 Render EDU and when I go to Terrain, it asks me to set up Cesium, but I can’t complete it because I don’t see any Cesium option under D5 My Space → Settings → Workspace (there’s no place to add a Cesium Ion access token).

I’m logged into my EDU account and my D5 version is 3.0.0.

Has anyone faced this before?
Is Cesium token setup restricted to workspace admins / team owners for EDU accounts, or is there a way for individual EDU users to enable it?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I currently have a D5 Pro license, but I am unable to use Cesium. I don’t understand why, as it is included in the tools offered in the Pro version.

Could you please help me with this?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi @elsa.barrere to use Cesium in D5, you must use the access token provided by Cesium.
Please refer to the link below for instructions on Cesium integration.

You can provide your account email privately so we can verify your account status. Thank you

Hello Antony,

I found the solution to the problem — I simply didn’t have the latest version of D5 (3.0).
Now Cesium and Ocean are working perfectly.

Thank you for your help.
