How can I remove live sync on a D5 model and re-sync it with a new Sketchup model that includes the same materials from the original sync without having to re-apply materials?
For example. The original Sketchup model had one house and I added a new adjacent house. None of the original materials in the original house changed. I just want to include the new adjacent home. Yet when I re-sync it with the new Sketchup model with the adjacent houseI lose all my material setting in nearly all materials on the original house.

is resync file of sketchup is having same file name as before when u imported ?
if u change file name then u will lost all material assigned in d5.

I was afraid that might be the case. It should probably be a request to make materials portable and not nested under a file name. Having to re-apply materials and change size and offset can be time consuming.
As it now stands, if you haven’t changed the name of the material, it is possible to achieve the result you want by continuing the sync directly with the plugin. If you change the name of the material in su, this will cause D5 to recognise the material as a new one, reverting it back to the state it was in su, rather than retaining the changes you made in D5.
