Hi,
I don’t want any shade.
How can I turn off the shade feature on the sun?
Bye

Hi @a.drexler
Just to clarify, what exactly are you trying to achieve? Do you want to remove all shadows in the scene or prevent specific objects from casting shadows? If possible, please provide a screenshot for reference.
At the moment, D5 Render does not have a full global “disable all shadows” feature.
To remove shadows from specific objects only, you can select the object and enable Invisible in Raytracing.
Good morning, Ela,
Yes, I’d like to remove all shadows from the scene.
It would be helpful if the shadows cast by a light source—such as the sun—could be turned off.
I’m aware of your suggestion to turn off shadows for individual objects.
It’s a bit tedious, but there’s no way around it with the current version of D5.

Hi @a.drexler
Unfortunately, there is no global option in D5 Render to completely disable all sun shadows for the entire scene. The only available options right now are to disable shadows per object or reduce their effect using lighting/environment settings.
Good morning Ela,
Another item on the list of potential improvements. ![]()
The next version of D5 can’t be too far off. ![]()
