Tree not showing up - Cannot remove it from path

Hello there,
I am not sure how to solve this weird issue I am facing.
This tree is not showing up suddenly, and I cannot even delete or remove it from Path settings.
Restarting the D5 did not work.
I have not tried deleting the F2 folder yet

Hi @nima.mousavi9

Is there a way you can identify which specific vegetation model is not appearing?

  • Which version was this file created in? And which version was this opened?
  • There’s a possibility that this model was replaced in the newer version.
  • Or perhaps there’s an issue with this specific model that may need immediate repair (so we need to know the specific model)

Hi @Clov

Unfortunately, I do not have any old images that show the asset.

It is created in the latest version and opened in it, but if it helps, I have to note that I had some problems with clips crashing, and you mentioned updating my GPU driver, and it solved that issue. I am not sure, but maybe after the driver update, it is showing like this.

Hi @nima.mousavi9

Thanks for your update. I don’t think this has anything to do with your recent action regarding Driver Updates, since it will only impact performance-related issues and by no means D5 Render Assets.

  • Are there no update buttons present which will prompt you to update the assets?
  • Was this file created in previous versions? And was it opened in the latest version you’re using? Chances are, this particular asset has been replaced with a better one.
  • If you can’t determine this particular asset, you can send the file to us so we can open it in earlier versions and check which specific vegetation object it is.

Yeah, as I said, it is built in the latest version, and was working fine.
Recently, I have been facing weird freezes in the D5. For example, when clicking on the camera or display button, it stays open, and I have to close and re-open the D5. I’m not sure what causes this, even in very light and simple models.

Anyway, I had no access to that asset, and there was no update showing. It kind of looked like a bug.
For now, I have delivered that projec,t but I will get back to that soo,n and I will update and try to send the file to you

Hi @nima.mousavi9

We just noticed that you seem to have a lot of issues with D5 Render; all of your problems seem to be very similar, such as crashing, freezing, etc. Have you considered reinstalling D5 or perhaps your Windows system?

Regarding the asset, we can immediately check the asset that’s causing the problem if there is enough information. Does hovering your cursor in this empty thumbnail provide you with the specific name of this asset?
