The sunlight illuminating the architectural materials in the viewport becomes darker and misaligned when the camera gets closer

The sunlight illuminating the architectural materials in the viewport becomes darker and misaligned when the camera gets closer. When the camera moves away, the lighting returns to normal. This issue occurs only with a specific model. Even after changing the material, the same problem persists. The issue does not occur with other objects. This problem began when I opened data—which originally had no issues—on a new computer. Could you please let me know how to resolve this?

Hi @j.asai

I apologize for the inconvenience. I would love to test your file on my end, please send your file to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov-Forum The Sunlight Illuminating the architectural materials

  • Please zip the whole D5 File Folder, then generate a link for file transfer. Thank you.

Thank you very much! i sent it to you. Please check, Thank you for your help.

Hi @j.asai

I just tested your file, and the results are normal on my end, even enabling or disabling some settings such as:

  • Path Tracing
  • FPS Booster
  • Super Resolution

And it does not make the following surfaces appear different. The final rendering result is also normal.

This issue might be specific to your device. Please try to update your Graphics Card Driver and see if this issue persists. Otherwise, you might need to reinstall D5 Render if updating your Graphics Card Driver won’t help.

Thank you.

Hi @Clov , Thank you fo testing me my file. I tried the solution you provided, but unfortunately the issue has not been resolved. The same phenomenon occurred even when I opened a different project on a different computer. On another machine, I discovered that the texture becomes distorted when a bevel(ROUND CORNER) is applied to it. Has there been any report of such an issue in the past? In the meantime, we are continuing to consult with a PC specialist on our side. Thank you very much.

Hi @j.asai

Oh that explains why I wasnt able to replicate it. This issue was experienced by RTX 5000 Series with 576.02 Drivers users and has already been fixed in the new 2.11 Update.

If you plan on using or updating to 2.11, I suggest doing it in this manner:

We’ve included the 2.10 version in this forum link: Download Historical Versions of D5 Render - Get Help - D5 RENDER FORUM

Additionally, may I know what problems were experienced in 2.11? Please install it in this order:

  1. Versions after 2.11 require the installation of D5 launcher before downloading - Please download the launcher first before downloading 2.11

  2. Open D5 Launcher > Click the download button on D5 launcher homepage, select the download location, download and install.

  • If you’re not planning on updating, then you can downgrade your NVIDIA Driver Version to 572.83.

Thank you @Clov . My PC is RTX 5080, and I hadn’t updated D5 to the latest version. After updating to 2.11, the issue was resolved! Thank you so much for your dedicated updates and quick response. We truly love D5!

Hi @j.asai

Thanks for the update!

Hi, I have the same problem. When I activate the round corner, the materials turn dark. I already updated to version 2.11, but the issue is still not resolved. i have a RTX5060

Hi @aiutilisationfree

This issue should have been fixed in the new version. Can you record a video of your D5 Render preview screen showing this exact issue?

  • We have tested the issue with RTX 5060Ti using Driver Version 576.02 and 577 (latest one), and the issue is not evident.
