When I’m using the scatter tool on a stacked building with outdoor gardens duplicated on each floor, if I apply the same material, the grass always scatters on top floor’s surface rather than on each floor’s surface.
I tried changing the layer for each floor, and that works for now. However, I have to move to each floor and manually select the material every time I want to scatter.
Are there any options to scatter on each surface with the same material when the floors are stacked?
Hi there. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Currently, this is a known issue where the same materials, if vertically stacked, can only generate the scatter assets in the topmost plane, and we are actively working on this issue. As for the workaround, I suggest differentiating the plane material instead of using one color/material throughout this plane. Thank you for your understanding.
Hi, is this expected to be resolved soon? For a project with multiple highrise towers with green balconies this is a super annoying issue. It would greatly speed up the process for us if this was resolved
