The chaotic effect isn’t activating at all. The chaotic effect is enabled in the pool water material settings. I’ve tried it from other angles too, and it still doesn’t activate. Even after rendering, I see that it’s still not working. It’s not something specific to the preview.

Caustics are more visible under artificial light than direct sunlight. To enhance caustics in sunlight, follow these steps:
- Increase caustics intensity in material or render settings.
- Lower sun intensity or exposure to avoid overpowering the caustic effect.
- Use skylights or HDRI for softer ambient lighting, which highlights caustics better.
- Position lights above the pool for a convincing caustics effect.
- Choose a darker surface beneath the refractive object to make caustics stand out.
Remember, strong sunlight can diminish caustics visibility due to overall brightness. To emphasize caustics, lower scene brightness or add artificial lights.
