The camera edit path does not work

why can’t I select the camera and change its path as shown in your video? she just doesn’t shave!

There does not have to be any layer filter active for it to work. If there is an active layer filter, the program does not recognize the camera path.

Thanks for the help! Where does the layer filter turn off?

I realized that the camera was created on one of the layers, and its path can only be edited when this layer is activated.

Hi! This issue will be fixed in 2.7.

I got confused.
It is the filter for objects, not layers
That has to be in “All” and not in any other
When it is like this, yes you can edit the camera path

hi over therem somehow the editing of the camera path doesn`t really work. I camot select the the different view carriers, only one of them, and afterthat i cannot select the nods to make the spline curve more smooth

Hi @julian_todorov

Could you please let us know which version you are currently using? Additionally, could you provide a video recording demonstrating how to replicate the issue? Lastly, can you confirm whether this problem occurs only with a specific file or with all files?

hi there the D5 version is 3.0.1.0683
huhuuuu im not sure how can I make a small size video to upload it, but general you can`t select the nodes to amend the spline. I tried to attache the file but is too big. Maybe you can tell me how to make the video

Hi! When working with the camera path, make sure your object filter is set correctly.
It should be either “All” or “Model” (as shown in the screenshot).
If a different filter is active, you won’t be able to select all path points or edit the spline properly

yes, it is as shown on ALL or Model but this doesn`t change anything

Show a video of how it doesn’t work for you.

Hi @julian_todorov

You can generate a link to the screen recording, either via WeTransfer or Google Drive.

hi guys, sorry to tell you, or better said, nice to tell you  all of a sudden it works. I have no idea what the reason was, but now after double click on the nodes, i can finally select and move them, juhuuuu thanks

Alright, thanks for letting us know. If it happens again, please send us a video recording of the process on your end.
