Hey there,
I have an issue mapping D5 texture on Rhino mesh object? The texture appears to be completely broken. How can I fix this issue? I’ve attached an image showing difference in texture mapping between mesh and a standart plane.
Thank you in advance.
Hi @nikita.doroshko
I apologize for the inconvenience. May I know which version of Rhino Plug-in you are currently using?
- Have you tried modifying the Texture Mapping of the Mesh Surface?
- If the issues persist, can you send us your Rhino File so we can troubleshoot it on our end? You may send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov-Forum Texture Mapping on Rhino Mesh Issue’
Thank you so much for you response.
I’ve tried different mapping variants and the situation appears to be better. Thank you for provided soultion.
I have one more question: why when I import my Rhino model via D5 LiveSync, the scale of textures appers to be wrong and quite large, so I have to manually adjust stretching the UV in Rhino from around 7 to 10 times. This isn’t a huge problem. But I would like to know if maybe I am doing anything wrong. Millimeteres units are set up in Rhino and in D5.
Thank you in advance.
Hi @nikita.doroshko
Thanks for the update. Regarding the other question about the scale, does this occur only when using D5 Livesync? Have you tried importing it via D5A? Do they have different results?
I am using Versioin 1.0.0.0002 as you do on your screenshot.
Just tried importing it via D5A and the results are worse than via LiveSync.
I will send you files to your email you provided in the previous message.
Thank you so much for your help and response.

Hi @nikita.doroshko
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem at this time. This may be something that is currently not supported hence, the reason why there are various issues. Nevertheless, Please know that we are continuously working on developing our plug-in to address and resolve various problems, and we appreciate your patience as we strive to improve its stability and functionality.
