Is there a way to better sync the texture alignment between Revit materials and D5 materials? We model exterior walls floor-to-floor, so they are split vertically at each level. Textures are aligned properly in Revit, but because the walls are separate objects, I guess, D5 seems to randomly shift the material. Haven’t seen this issue in Twinmotion or Enscape, but as we shift over to D5 it’s become problematic.
Is the best way to avoid this, at least in this case, to model the entire exterior wall as one object for the entire height of the building? Or conversely, creating numerous duplicate materials for each wall segment so they can individually be shifted in D5?
I apologize for the inconvenience. Does these two walls have the same texture and texture name? Does this occur when you Sync the Model? Or perhaps export it to d5a?

Note: If you’re using an older version of the plug-in please update it and see if there are any differences. Otherwise, we may need to collect your Revit File for testing and troubleshooting. Thank you.
Yes, the walls are all the same type and material, and no material is painted on. This occurs via the D5 Sync, but I haven’t tried exporting to d5a instead.
Thanks for the confirmation. Can you send us this Revit File or perhaps this particular portion of the model so we can assess it on our end? We would like to test it if either this is a limitation on our end or a bug.
You may send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov-Forum Texture Alignment between Revit & D5’
That solved it, thank you! Is that option not compatible with textures that have displacement maps? My original texture had displacement, and the triplanar option wasn’t there, but when I changed to a different texture without displacement, it came back.
Currently, triplanar mapping isn’t available for all Material Templates. We may add more template categories that has the Triplanar Option in subsequent releases.
