Terrible animation tool for alembic sequence

I have an alembic animation i need to play on/off, there is no way to keyframe the activation of the animation.

yeah, right now there is no feature to assign start and end keyframe.
when i dont get option to achieve what i desire. i do tricks , here is what u can do.

  1. first one is easy, use first clip for ur animation. in that way ur animation will be start at first frame.
  2. this is calculated trick - count clips duration length before ur animation clip, (example - animation shot no. is 3 so count 1 and 2 shot duration and multiply by 30 ( rendering frame rate ) like each shot is 10 sec , so it comes 600 frames.
    then go to ur original project file of animation, keep offset of 600 frames before start key of animation and export animation.
    hope this way u can achieve ur goal.

i duplicated the abc, one end frame, one start frame, and one animated, then hide/show accordingly.
And even with that it manage not to use the right offset frame on one of the shots.
