We are currently trying D5 for teams, but we’re not seeing updates between members.
We’ve set up different worksets, and various team members are making modifications. The multi-editor editing is working because the read-only and editable modes show up when we open the files in Team. However, the issue is that we can’t see each other’s changes; we have to close and reopen the files to view them.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Have you checked your internet speed? Intermittent data connections often cause delays in updating files. Please check your internet speed, and if possible, restart your router as well.
Let me know if this suggestion was able to help with your problem.
Our internet speed is working perfectly, both upload and download at over 500 Mbps. I also did a test with the D5 support tool, and the OSS speed is 20.00 MB/s while the CDN Speed is 50.00 MB/s
Thanks for the follow-through response regarding your case. Please note that the changes and updates may not appear in real-time, though you save your file locally on your computer.
Members will only see the changes after they receive a notification that “changes have been made.” This means that when a user makes changes, the results can only be seen after they click the save button and exit.
Please confirm how long you have waited before the results show up. If it is within a minute/s, then it is within the system range.
We just updated to TEAMS and we are having this problem too. If i open a workset and edit my coworker is unable to see the changes unless he closes his workset and reopens it. it does not show any popup notification.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Update notifications are not designed to be instant and refresh every 30 seconds, so a delay of roughly 10 seconds before displaying is under expectation. But if there are no “blue dot” even after 10 seconds, then it might be abnormal.
Did you perhaps save the workset?
May I know which version of D5 you are currently using?
Alright, just to confirm, did you perhaps use the 3d modelling software to link the plug-in/import it directly, and save the file (while multi-editor was also enabled)?
I only made changes within D5 by adding extra planting to see if it would update from one PC to the other. I did not update any model from our 3d modelling software.
