TDR crash event when we render

Hi. We are trying to render a file for some assignment and are quite exasperated as D5 render is having crashes on all computers with TDR event. All computers have a NVIDIA graphic card. i thought for a while that it may be a problem with one computer nd now i have tried three Machinesa nd its the same TDR crash event. File size is 3.02 GB and is a Site plan. Please help as its an important assignment and we are now panicking.

Hello, this error message is about TDR setting in Windows10 system. The solution is easy, and please try them:

  1. Run D5 Render as administrator(right click the icon->Run as administrator)
  2. Reboot your computer.

Then the pop-up will not appear again. If the problem remains, feel free to let me know~

Oliver. I have run d5 render as admin and rebooted computer . its not working. now when i render on my laptop rtx3070 machine the app simply crashes and vanishes. have tried changing tdrdelay in regedit to 60 and its the same.

on the same machine i can render your demo building scene but not my project?

Seems like some error in files. what should i do? at least this seems to be the case on the laptop. i am not so sure about the desktop machines

Subsequent to the above i made a new machine on irender gpu farm with 3090 rtx and xeon processor and the same TDR crash happened there. so during the render process something is crashing the software. can you please resolve this issue. if you want i can send u the project files.

Hello, that is mainly because GPU is out of usage. On the irender GPU farm, the 3090 rtx should be enough to render your scene, but its TDR setting has not changed correctly. Can you run D5 as admin then reboot on that computer?

As you mentioned, you can save the video clip and add to render queue, then compress the scene and send it to support@d5techs.com

Besides, to decrease GPU usage, you can turn off Wind and Fog effect, use low poly trees.
