Synchronized Model is missing

Hi,
after the last update, i have several issues when i synchronize my drawing from Cinema4D to D5…
When i finish my drawings into C4D and send it to D5, everything is OK… the file shows up normally. But when i close everything, and start again, synchronize to D5, the file in question is not showing up but all the D5 features, models and lights are there…

I have this problem on all my projects . please find a solution

I apologize for the inconvenience. There are several causes for this issue, such as:

  • Cloud storage (Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox,etc) is used to store these 3d Files and D5 Files. Please download these files first locally,then start working on them.
  • You have renamed the linked 3d model file or transferred its location., please revert back if this is the case.

Just to confirm of your workflow:

  • Are you using Livesync?
  • Direct Import?
  • Or .d5a conversion?

Hi @fahdafal Could you please confirm whether your files are saved locally on your computer or in a cloud drive?

Additionally, I’d like to verify the versions you’re currently using for the sync plugin, D5 Render, and Cinema 4D. Please join our Discord server using the link below to access the latest version of the D5-C4D sync plugin.

After installing the latest version, let me know if the issue persists. Also, ensure your project files are stored locally on your computer, as cloud drive workflows are still being optimized.
