Sych Error Revit

I get this error when I try to synch to D5 in a plan view. If I switch to 3d view, it works normally. Is this a bug, or do I need to always switch to 3d?

Revit 2024

Thanks
Gregg

Hello, sorry for your problem. Is it a line drawing of a floor plan that you want to import? Currently D5 does not support importing line drawings. Perhaps you could set up your line drawing as an image to import into revit and then sync to D5 as a reference.

Hi sorry for any confusion. It is not a line drawing; I am synching from a floor plan view in Revit 2024. I get the error. If I open the model in a 3d view, then it will synch properly. I recall being able to sych with D5 while in a floor plan view previously.

Sorry for your issue. I suggest you can send your revit model to us and we will check it (support@d5techs.com, and please describe the problem).

Here is a link to the file. My guess would be a Revit family downloaded from the internet causes the problem. But it is curious that it synchs while in 3d view.
