I have an additional plant request. We also use this saw palmetto in our projects a lot and would like to put it in renders . The scientific name is Serenoa repens
Thank you for your advice!
Just my 2 cents, i realized that in the library the same typology of plant is placed at different places in the bundle. So suppose im using a shrub, there are 4/5 different assets of the same variety but not placed together to know the difference between the two. Either they are a club asset or they are a larger sized asset.
- If we could simplify the process and have just 1 click in the whole bundle that gives us additional menu sliders for size+cluster+age etc. I know it would reduce the number of planting assets over all but still it would help the designer/architect greatly in the process of planting.
- We can have a sub-menus of the existing asset that should show all the additional varieties of the same assets. This helps in not reducing the number of assets overall.
Thanks
Monks

I can’t find these plants in the assets. Are they already joined to the list of nature plants?

- Westringia fruitcosa, balls
- Dichondra repens, ground cover
- Dichondra ‘Silver falls’
- Kalanchoe hildebrandtii ‘silver spoons’
- Doryanthes excelsa
- Casuarina glauca ‘Cousin it’
- Dicksonia antartica
- Gazania tomentosa
- Magnolia grandiflora 'Teddy Bear, or a pleached version of a magnolia
- Australian gum trees
- Pulmeria rubra or other frangipani varients
Apologies if some of these plants are already in the program. Happy to work with further to help develop this area also. Apologies this is my first post so not sure how relevant this is.
Ferns are in almost every single garden design in the UK but there doesn’t seem to be a single fern asset in the library. I’d rather not use my Sketchup ferns as the quality isn’t as good as the other D5 assets I use for the rest of the design.
Some common fern varieties are:
Blechnum spicant
Dryopteris filix-mas
Polystichum polyblepharum
Matteuccia struthiopteris
Dryopteris erythrosora
Dryopteris wallichiana
Would love to see those species aswell but they do have some ferns;
- Nephrolepis exaltata
- Grass32 and 33 looks like a fern specie
That’s fantastically helpful, thank you ![]()
Yea, no idea why there isn’t a “fern” tag for those. They could improve their library so much if they used the right tags
