Hello,
I’m looking for a way to display smooth light or exposure transitions between scenes in animation : for example, during a walkthrough animation I know that sun position can be animated, but is it possible with lights or exposure level?
When the first scene is outside the building I need low exposure, when the second scene is an interior scene I have to increase the exposure level. But if I do this ther is no smooth transition.
The only way I found was to reduce a light panel size…
Thank for help
Hi mate, I tested the expose transition in a building scene, it’s good in most of the scenes.
Can you share the video with us to see the performance of the transition?
If you are unsatisfied with that, you can also place more lights indoors to ensure the lighting difference between them is not too obvious.
hello, you are right it works on a testing model. To late for the last model wich was delivered…
Your advice for the indoor lights is good too.
in truth my problem was more precisely to be able to achieve a smooth transition between the lighting level of a rectangular panel between the scenes, whereas I only find the option swith on or off
Got it, Actually, we cannot adjust its intensity in the video mode, so the transition effect can not be achieved in D5 easily. That’s a good point, we will improve it, thank you for your feedback!
