Hi,
I have a similar issue. I synced my SketchUp to D5 once but after doing some changes on SketchUp. I’m not able to resync it. It loads up to 85% and then crashes.
Any solution for this?

Does this only occur in this specific file? Have you tried testing with another file if the issue persists?
Can you also send me the following:
D5 Plug-in Version
System Info
VRAM - please OPEN your D5 File when you access this portion
Memory Speed
Hey @Clov
This happen only for this specific file. I have attached all the things you asked.
Hope this helps in understanding the issue.
Thanks for sending these images. There are only two things which concern me:
Driver Version - Your Driver version is still from last October 2024; it might be best to update it.
VRAM - You only have 6.0 GB VRAM, which may be too low if you both open D5 Render and SKP at the same time thus, susceptible to crashing.
Just to clarify on your workflow:
You are using D5 Sync instead of D5 Live-sync, right? We usually recommend using the Live-sync plug-in as it is more stable and also has the Sync capabilities if you don’t wish to use the Live-sync feature.
If you are going to make some changes in SketchUp, do you completely close your D5 File, then open it again to trigger the resync process?
I would like to test it on my end (both D5 File and SKP File) and see if the issue is replicated
If it does, then it might be something to do with the file, and if it is normal on my part, then the main culprit should be your device’s specification and how it handles it.
Hi @Clov
I will updated my driver version and D5 works perfectly for every other skp file. Even the ones bigger. Its just this file which is giving me issues. So I don’t know if its the VRAM issue.
Yes, I’m using d5 sync currently. I downloaded d5 live sync and it still didn’t work.
I sometimes sync with both open and sometimes close the d5. Make the changes and then open both and try to sync. Either ways it doesn’t work for this file.
Will send you over the files on the email you sent.
You have sent the D5 File incorrectly. Please refer to the image that I have provided. Please zip the D5 file folder.
