Hey guys, my LiveSync for SketchUp has not been working. The zoom/pan does sync with my D5 screen, but none of the edits are automatically sync’d. I have to constantly stop sync and resync to see my changes. I am using D5 version 2.8.0.0469 and LiveSync version 1.3.0.0035. Can anyone help me resolve this?

Apologies for bumping into this issue. Is this the first time you’ve encountered this issue? Does this happen to this specific file or for all of the files? Have you tried uninstalling the LiveSync, restarting the PC, and reinstalling the LiveSync plugin again? Does any pop-up or prompts suddenly appear? Please provide more detailed screenshots so we can better understand your situation.

I’ve been getting the same thing for a while now and have gotten used to hitting the sync button for any geometry or material updates. It only live syncs the view and/or zoom functions. I just finished uninstalling and re-installing the latest version and nothing changed. I also tested it on a large model and a simple model. Same thing.
I also tested it in SU 2022 and SU 2024.
I’m embarrassed to say that the solution was pretty simple. I didn’t realize that I also had to turn on the Live Sync button on the D5 toobar in SketchUp. @gusrobatto does this fix your problem, as well?
