Hello,
fisrt : thanks for the awsome terrain tool !
But but I’m trying to install a language pack and so far it’s not working.
Then I lost my favorite shortcut key M to open the assets window.
On my machine, the Z shortcut for focus no longer works either…
yes, it’s a keyboard language problem, I tried to change this M shortcut to display the assets window and when I typed A it said Q
I finally found the “restore all” button, but it doesn’t change anything.
Hi @julienfischel@Eich3009 , We’ve found the cause of this issue, and it’s related to a change in 2.9. The temporary solution is to follow the QWERTY Layout for now. Rest assured we have a support plan in place and will be releasing it as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.
hello,
it’s not that simple, it’s possible to “convert” shortcuts on the azerty keyboard to qwerty for some functions and not for others. I’m trying and still can’t find the correspondence for the asset window function (M key).
The M azerty key is the N qwerty key and it doesn’t work.
So I’ve tried all the keys and none of the letters show the asset window. Maybe I need to combine two keys, but which ones?
Hi there I apologize , what happens if you assign another key instead of M for that shortcut? Also, do you mind telling which keyboard you are using so I can check its layout and assess it further? Just an assumption but, try to combine Fn, Shift, or Ctrl to M respectively and see if there are any differences. Thank you.
Maybe you need to use the ‘,’ (comma)next to the N.
I guess “,” is the M azerty key…
D5 will fix this problem and bring a better plan for AZERTY and QWERTZ keyboard users, thank u~
thank you, yes it works. But in the end the letter A for Assets isn’t so bad, maybe I’ll keep it since I don’t use the keyboard move. I think the letter A used to be assigned “move forward”.
As I wrote in another post, in the shortcut preferences I changed the M key for assets to Q. On my european keyboard I have to press A
